RE-Kit™
KEEP GEAR IN PLAY

What is it?
RE-Kit™ is Sohocolab's solution to the problem of single-season use sportswear waste. RE-Kit™ is a community-driven reuse program that gives sports uniforms a second life. Rather than being discarded after a single season, uniforms are collected, repaired, reused, and swapped.

Who is it for
Parents who want to save money, cut waste, and see their kids thrive.
Players who take pride in playing the game they love.
Leagues and Clubs that want to show leadership and build community trust.
Underserved communities: RE-Kit™ helps open doors by making sports more accessible to all kids.

When
RE-Kit™ happens at the natural transitions of the season. When games, recitals, or competitions end, new seasons begin, and during special community drives. These moments make it easy for families to return or swap CLEAN gear.

Where
RE-Kit™ takes place where families already gather - on fields at season’s end, in studios after recitals, at registration tables, and during community events. RE-Kit™ makes it easy to return, swap, and reuse uniforms.

Why
Every season, thousands of youth sports uniforms are worn just a handful of times before being tossed aside. A name printed on the back, a design change, or the expectation to buy new gear each year turns perfectly good kits into waste. This cycle drains family budgets, clutters closets, and adds to the growing problem of textile waste in our landfills.
